Yesterday we put up our tree and decorations. (Inside. We're going to do the outside today I think) We drank hot chocolate too. I love Christmas time! It seems like it goes faster every year. When your little, Christmas just never seems to get here. When you get older, there's too much to do. Getting gifts and food, even though being crazy buzy is one of my favorite parts of christmas, it comes fast-especially when you cant drive!
Some of my friends from church are going to Elsalvador to share the gospel there. They are going to orphanages, prisons and all kinds of things! I want to encourage you to pray for them. Pray that God will work in the lives of the people there, and will bless the hearts of those going. I know your prayers are most appreciated!
PS- LateHappy Birthday to Asia! PSS- Check out my new links-they're awsome!
Some of you may have noticed the link I put up for "treasure church". It's a study my youth group is going through on Wednesday nights. I haven't been able to make it to church lately, but I watched the first teaching online. AJ, my youth pastor, talked about how Jesus told parables of people who sold everything they had so that they can have a treasure. I started thinking about how even among Christians, we whisper oh, I have to read my Bible or Ah, I can't do that. I have to go to church. Not that we don't have to do things like that, but why does it have to be such a chore? How come we look forward to worshipping God only some of the times? Of course, it is enjoyable. But why, for me at least, is it not enjoyable some of the time?
So I finally got some pictures up from camp. For some reason, every time I plug my camera into the computer, the computer crashes. I have to put them from hard drive to hard drive till they're finally on photobucket. I'm getting better at it though. I've been enjoying taking pictures lately. I took some nature shots that aren't too bad. lol, I just need some more pictures of freinds!
Hey! Check out the website I just added to my links! It's called 'the rebelution' . In my bible study, we're going through a book called DoHardThings by Alex and Brett Harris. I've only read the first 2 chapters, but I'm already so exited about it! The rebelution is a rebellion against low expectations, how the culture is saying we're not capable of a lot, and how that's not true. Anyway, clicking on the link! It'll tell you better than I could!
This is so wierd! Can you read this? (And no, it is not a different language. Just try to read it!)

Camp wasamazing! I was so sad it was my last time, but so glad i could go. I got to shoot rifles, ride horses, walk backwards off walls, and ride a 758' water sliiiiiide!!!! It was a little painful, sunburn, blisters, a few cuts, and my ankles felt like they were holding up a thousand pounds. It was all so worth it though. The bible teachings were amazing too. I learned so much. When I got home I was SO tired (I fell asleep on the living room floor!) I'll put up some pictures soon. And so I guess there's nothing else new... Only that yesterday was my birthday!! We didn't have a big party or anything, but I still had a really nice time. Today was also my first day of school. It would have been alright, but (don't read this out loud) I fell asleep doing math homework...
Some people are like slinkys-they're not really good for anything but they always bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stares!
Hey! So last Sunday I was lying around thinking of what to do, but nothing came to mind. I decided I was getting way too board this summer. So, this last week I have been supervising a camp for my siblings. It has been so much fun! We set up a sheet tent in the bedroom (though that didn't last that long) and were doing activities every day. We've done a scavenger hunt, build a card board rocket ship, capture the flag, and today were going to bake and have a "ball" so they can all dress up. I'm going to try and put some pictures up. I can't wait till the fourth of july! tomorrow we're going to a fireworks show at our church, and Saturday we're having a barbeque. Also, my brother is turning 4 soon, and he wants a super hero party. He wants to be spiderman, but I'm trying to convince him to be "super Ethan".
Sorry I haven't posted. Internet crashed on my laptop and with both my parents wanting to be on the computer all day, It's hard to squeeze some time in. This is my last week of school. I am so exited! I'm trying to cram like crazy. I have literally been studying all day, but it still seems like there is so much to prepare for. Exams are like a mix of every test you already took. Which makes me think- Why in the world do you need to take them? Youv'e already passed or failed it once. I'm exited to get it over with. But I'm probably even more exited to go to camp this summer for youth group. I'll need some major fundraisers, but if you ask me it's worth it twice. It's going to be so much fun. I went last year, and this is the last yaer I can go since it's for middle schoolers. My sister gets to come with me this year, and she's exited too. I just can't wait! I'm hoping to put up some more pictures and stuff but I only have a few minutes on the computer so probably next week when school's over. So, for anyone who read the post this far, If you have that much time, you probably have enough time to invite me over for ice cream! ;D
I love my new blog! Please post comments and tell me what you think! I just hope I can keep up with it. My last blog wouldn't let me sign in anymore. Oh well! I like this one better anyway!
