It was on sale

We sat comfortably in the living room, about ten, eleven, maybe twelve girls, eating gummy bears and talking about the best ever pranks.
"the best prank I've ever done," one said, "was when I put a life size clown doll in the passenger seat of so-and-so's car." everyone, of course cracked up but I couldn't help asking her, "why in the world do you have a life size clown doll?" she shrugged and said, "It was on sale."

We sat around the lunch table as the boys told us casually, oh so casually, how they took the fake plants from the halls of almost every floor and put them in their dorm.
"what did you do that for?"
"well, we needed it. Our room was really boring."

There are a few memories like these that stand out in my mind. Why? I guess because they came from some crazy, random, and sometimes daring ideas. We didn't really have any reason for doing it... But it was a lot of fun. They made the greatest memories, even when people thought we were insane. Especially when people thought we were insane, I guess.

But they won't be the only ones. Oh no, I have a whole list of things I have yet to do--just for the fun of it. Any one who would like to join me is welcome.

1. Jump in a taxi and yell "follow that car!"

2. Hire two private investigators. Have them follow each other.

3. Walk up to a random person, gasp and say "Hey! I remember you! Oh my goodness, how have you been!" and see if they play along to avoid embarrassment.

4. Follow joggers around in a car blasting "eye of the tiger" for encouragement.

5. Buy a parrot. Teach parrot to say "Help! I've been turned into a parrot!"

6. Keep confetti in pockets. When there is a long, awkward silence in a conversation, throw confetti. Then, while they are distracted, run away. (my sister actually already did this. It was hilarious.)

7. Take a mysterious package to a random person and say kinda loud, "Here's the next clue. Meet me at Sector 57 at oh-seven hundred hours tomorrow. Bring no one."

8. Become a teacher. Make a test where every answer is "C". Enjoy the show.

9. Make vanilla pudding. Put in mayo jar. Eat in public.

10. Get into a crowded elevator and say "I bet you're all wondering why I gathered you here," with a serious face.

11. Run into a store and ask what year it is. When someone answers, yell "It worked!!!" and run out cheering.

12. Hide behind a car in the parking lot with a bag of firecrackers. When someone walks past, start throwing fire crackers down every time they take a step. Stop when they pause to look around. Resume when they start walking again.

13. Pretend to be a manikin and dress up in store clothes. Strike a pose. When someone stares, make faces at them.

14. Stare at the ceiling and see how many people stop to see what your staring at.

15. I want my last words to be, "I left a million dollars under the... The..."
